Nick Roccaforte - Executive Director
"I was born and raised in Houston and grew up near the Heights. My dad and I used to go goose hunting in the rice fields of the Katy Prairie long before The Solana at Cinco Ranch was envisioned. I spent 10 years in the Texas Medical Center taking care of children, adults and seniors, was a hospital administrator and a health care consultant. The last 15 years I have served as Executive Director for several exceptional senior living companies. I am excited to join The Arbor Company and to have the opportunity to be part of the new and dynamic community of The Solana at Cinco Ranch."
Lori Vale - Marketing Director
"I was born and raised in Texas and graduated from The University of Texas in Austin. After graduating I moved to Houston, TX and worked in both the nonprofit and for profit sector in TX, VA and AZ. Looking back now, I can say my career began when I walked into a senior living home over 10 years ago in AZ. I knew then it was my calling and I've been working with seniors since and simply love what I do each and every day. I have learned many things from the residents I've met throughout the years in different communities and enjoy listening to each of them tell their stories. I am very excited to be a part of the wonderful and caring team at The Solana at Cinco Ranch and look forward to sharing my expertise in the senior living industry. I hope to meet you soon to assist you in making the right decision!"
Patti Evans - Business Development Manager
"I was born and raised in Houston but have lived in Katy, raising three sons within the Katy School District, over the last 30 years. I have personally witnessed the explosion of growth and development in Katy and spent the majority of my career in the area beginning as Executive Director of the Katy Chamber and moving on to Director of Membership for 2 major area country Clubs. For the last two years I served as Community Relations Manager for a major senior industry leader, but am thrilled to be working back in the Katy community and to be a part of the team at The Solana at Cinco Ranch."
Sandee Sterling, R.N. - Director of Wellness
"I was born in Louisiana and raised in Alaska. For over 13 years, I traveled the United States with my husband who is serving in the US Navy. My experience as a Registered Nurse has varied from Post-Acute Care to Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation. I have continued to gravitate to Senior Living as the relationships I have built with the residents and families has been rewarding beyond measure. Two years ago I moved to the Katy area with great expectations and I have not been disappointed! I am so excited to be a part of The Solana team and look forward to working with each resident, and their family."
Cindy Nicholas - Director of Resident Relations
"I was born and raised in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and moved to Texas four years ago with my family...we love it here in Katy! I have over ten years of dedicated customer service experience. Prior to moving, I spent six years helping care for my Grandmother (in her home and then transitioning her into Assisted Living). This experience has provided me with great sensitivity to the needs of seniors, and I can't imagine a more fulfilling line of work. My goal is to bring my warm personality to the front desk, and see to it that all residents live in a joyful, hospitable environment. The entire Solana team is excited to be here for the residents, to assure your continued happiness and satisfaction. "Moving to Houston eight years ago to become the Executive Chef for Royal Oaks Country Club was what brought me to Texas. After attending California Culinary Academy, my profession took me to work in Hawaii, Indonesia, Taiwan, India & Egypt. "Our family moved to Katy 20 years ago and we have been an active part of this community since. I have served as an officer on the Maud Marks Library Board, volunteered in the KISD school system, served as a Girl Scout Leader, and helped launch ArtReach, a nationally recognized service organization. After years working with various non-profits, I went to work in another Senior Residence in Lifestyles and Recreation. I am excited to be back home in Katy, working with this excellent group of residents and staff, here at The Solana at Cinco Ranch."

I worked 24 years in the Restaurant industry in construction and maintenace. I shifted to retirement community enviroment 2years ago. I found I truley enjoy working with our residents and team members."
Leah Banks - Director of Business Administration
"I was born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Being a small town girl and growing up in the country, I was excited to move to Katy 7 years ago with my family which includes my husband, 3 wonderful children, and 1 lovely dog. I have a very diverse background but much of it consists of healthcare billing and office management. For the past few years I have worked within the Senior Living field and have greatly enjoyed every moment of it. I am so excited to be a part of The Solana team and look forward to working with each resident, and their family."
